Many handymen charge by the hour with a minimum, and you find out the real total at the end. CMG Bridge works differently — one fixed number you know before we set out.
- Standard call-out: $125, prepaid online. It includes the first hour of work and travel within 10 miles. Standard bookings aren’t same-day — book today, earliest visit tomorrow; allow 24 to 48 hours.
- Beyond 10 miles: travel is $2.50 per additional mile, confirmed with you before dispatch.
- More than the first hour? Any extra work is quoted in writing and paid before it starts. The quoted price is a cap — quote two hours, pay for two hours, even if it takes longer.
- Same-day emergencies: emergency visits start at $199, including the first hour and travel within 10 miles, subject to availability — email handyman@cmgbridge.com first so we can confirm.
- Where and when: Staten Island, NY only, Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. For emergencies, call 917-859-4428.
The call-out fee is non-refundable once a handyman has been dispatched. Every job is different, so CMG Bridge reserves the right of final interpretation. Details on our FAQ page.
