Our $125 call-out includes the first hour. With a little preparation, a lot can get done in that hour — but let’s be clear: each job below is one that usually takes under an hour on its own. That does not mean a whole list fits into one hour; how much gets done depends on the jobs themselves and on how ready things are.
Jobs that usually take under an hour each: re-hanging or adjusting doors that stick; patching small drywall holes and dents; fixing loose handles, hinges, knobs and cupboard doors; replacing light fittings, switches and socket covers (like-for-like); fitting shelves, curtain rails, blinds, mirrors and pictures; re-sealing baths, showers and kitchen worktops; tightening loose taps, toilet seats and fittings; small carpentry repairs to skirting, trim and floorboards.
How to get the most from your hour: write your list in priority order before we arrive, and have any parts you have bought (handles, fittings, shelves) ready in the room. If the list runs past the first hour, that’s fine — any extra work is agreed with you in writing at a quoted price, paid before it starts, so there are never surprise charges.
We serve Staten Island, NY only, Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Every job is different and unexpected situations can arise, so CMG Bridge reserves the right of final interpretation. Ready to clear your list? Request a handyman and pay the fixed $125 call-out online.
