A little preparation makes your handyman visit faster — and helps you get the most out of the first hour included in your $125 call-out.
1. Make a list, in priority order. Write down everything you would like done, most important first. Anything beyond the first hour is agreed in writing at a quoted price, paid before it starts — no surprise charges.
2. Send photos ahead. After booking, email photos of the job to handyman@cmgbridge.com with your name and phone number, and we will match them to your booking.
3. Clear the work area. Move furniture, boxes and breakables away from the area, keep children and pets in another room, and have any parts you have bought (taps, handles, shelves, fittings) ready in the room.
4. Know where your shut-offs are. For plumbing or electrical jobs, it helps to know where your water shut-off valve and breaker panel are. If you are not sure, just show us where they might be when we arrive.
5. Be reachable at your appointment time. Someone over 18 must be at the property during your arrival window. The call-out fee is non-refundable once a handyman has been dispatched.
